I love to read in my spare time and to take digital photographs, mainly of the squirrels and birds that come into my garden, and of flowers, trees and views in any public gardens that I visit.
I also like to garden and recently moved to a new home with large back and front gardens. This autumn I am about to make-over the front garden in the Japanese style, with a stone lantern, wooden bridge and dry river bed, as well as many Japanese trees and plants.
My husband and I like to walk as much as possible, too. We also spend a lot of time on our computers. I have many friends all over the world that I email, which I find a lot easier and more friendly than sending snail mail to. Although I still do have one or two penfriends that have not yet progressed to PC’s!
I am a big fan of American Football, and in the playing season watch all the matches on TV. I have been fortunate enough to see some Canadian Football League games live when I have visited Edmonton and Calgary in Canada.
I very much like to travel and have been fortunate enough in the last 3 or 4 years to have visited New York and Washington D.C. as well as Portland, Oregon USA and Tokyo and Utsunomiya in Japan.
