The Southampton dojo instructors are Roger Packman, who began his study of Ki and Ki Aikido in 1980, and Amanda Packman, who, since she first attended classes at the age of 3, has had a lifelong interest in Ki and Ki Aikido.
Both have trained in classes taught by Ki Society Founder Koichi Tohei Sensei, and by his son Shinichi Tohei Sensei. They have also studied under many other of the Ki Society's most senior instructors, and have trained at Ki Society H.Q. in Japan.
The instructor at the Romsey satellite dojo is Alastair Brown who, as well as studying Ki and Ki Aikido for many years in the UK, has undertaken intensive instructor training in the USA.
